About	Ron passed on July 17 2001 at age of 53 in Brentwood, Contra Costa County. During that time frame, husband Tom and I were living in Atlanta, I happened to go online then came across Ron Mendoes name in an obituary listing in the San Jose Mercury. That name didn't register as the same person who was in the Class of 1967. Then, several days ago,as I was looking at this website, I again noticed Ron's name as a "missing" classmate. Not knowing for sure if it was actually the same person, I researched the Social Security Death Index and also the US Veteran's Gravesite websites and discovered that it was our beloved classmate. Ron and I attended Holy Spirit School (Class of 1963) where he was well liked by all the class.. He had a passion for baseball and a memorable sense of humor. He was inducted into the US Army in 1968 and served as an SP5 in Vietnam. Following his death, he was interred in Hayward at Holy Sepulchure cementery. R.I.P, Ron Submitted by Mary Jane Rivers Luck
