About	Sara Beth Benson, 17, of Smiths Grove died at 12:10 a.m. March 2, 2002, on Smiths Grove-Rocky Hill Road as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.The Warren County native was a junior at Warren East High School, where she was a member of the Lady Raiders basketball team, golf team and tennis team, Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, International Club and a member of Oakland Baptist Church, where she was assistant director of Outreach Food Ministry. She was a daughter of Deon Benson and Mary Benson of Smiths Grove, who survive.Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Oakland Baptist Church with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the church with a memorial service at 6 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Warren East Lady Raiders Basketball Boosters, 6867 Louisville Road, Bowling Green, Ky., 42101. Other survivors include a sister, Catherine Benson of Smiths Grove; a brother, Daniel Benson of Smiths Grove; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Ernestine Benson of Jamaica.
