Richard Red, Class of 1953, disappeared in the U.S. Navy in early 1960. It is known that he was fully responsible for the loading and unloading of cameras on airplanes based on a carrier in the Pacific, and for the processing of all pictures taken. To say that his job had to be most sensitive and significant in the Cold War, has to indeed be an understatement.

The U.S. Navy does not acknowledge his existence. They have been supplied his name, parent's names, birthdate and place of birth, date of high school graduation, and known information about his assignment

His cousin, Charles Tyson, is the closest surviving next-of-kin. He is most anxious to correspond with anyone who knew Richard.
