After High School ,I went to college at Alfred University in New York, I stopped in 1950 to join the Air Force ,starting out as a private but going on to flight training and teaching new pilots how to fly T-33's in Hondo, Texas. After a couple of years doing that, I went on to Control Tower operator's school and returned to San Antonio to finish off my service career. I returned to Alfred University and completed my schooling, receiving BS in Ceramic Engineering and a PHD as well. I went to work in Findlay, Ohio, Cleveland,Ohio, and Whittier, California ending up my career in the Ceranic Industry. I stayed in California and purchase a Promotional Products Company, selling it about 6 years later. I then purchssed an Insurance Company with offices in Dallas. Have been there since 1980 and am still working in the Insuracne industry as Chairman of the Board of Baker International Insurance Company. However, I stayed in California ever since because of the weather.
