Glenn L. Felner
Class of 1944
Fought in WW II with 69th Infantry Division in European Theater and awarded Combat Infantry Badge and Bronze Star Medal for action in Ardennes .
Was part of advanced troops who liberated Buchenwald concentration camp.
Returned to U.S. and graduated Missouri U. with degree in journalism.
Worked for Chicago Sun-Times a year and then entered a successful career in Life Insurance sales.
Was appointed Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Rwanda retiring after 20 years.
Flew own plane as charter pilot for many years.
