Service description I lest for boot camp in 2000 right after we graduated and spent a total of 8 years in the Navy. I spent four years active duty and then got out and joined the reserves. I have been sent to Iraq twice since being in the Navy Reserves. So now I have a total of 6 years active duty and 2 reserve. I attained the rank of E-5 which is a Second Class Petty Officer.
