He then moved to Sonoma State where he had a remarkable run, receiving recognition as a 1993 Division II Second Team All American. He ultimately graduated with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.

Dedini's professional career began in 1994, with the North Bay Breakers. He later played for Chico Rooks, became a 1996 All League, and then joined the Nashville Metros. His remarkable coaching skills earned him the Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year title in 2007 and 2010.

Through his career, Dedini has made significant contributions to the sport, both as a player and a coach. His journey can be an inspiration for aspiring soccer players and coaches alike.
