What is Josh Kaddu known for?

Joshua Israel Kaddu, a former American gridiron football linebacker, was born on March 12, 1990, in Richmond, California. He received his early education from Vacaville High School in Vacaville, California, where he demonstrated his prowess in sports, including football, basketball, and track and field. Kaddu ended his senior football season ranking third in the Monticello Empire League with notable statistics including 92 stops, 5.5 quarterback sacks, and two interceptions.

After high school, Kaddu played college football for the Oregon Ducks, a well-known football program at the University of Oregon. He was recognized for his remarkable performance and was selected in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. He started his professional career with the Dolphins, playing with them from 2012 to 2013. Kaddu then briefly joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014 before moving to the Minnesota Vikings, where he played until 2015. Later, in 2018, Kaddu signed with the BC Lions.

In addition to his football career, Kaddu excelled in track & field, particularly in jumping events. He achieved a high jump best of 1.83 meters, a long jump best of 6.41m, and a triple jump best of 13.58m. He also competed in hurdles and shot put.

In his personal life, Kaddu has four siblings and is the son of Ugandan immigrants. His father was a world-recognized boxer before the Idi Amin era. Kaddu's diverse track record, on and off the field, has made him one of the noteworthy alumni of Vacaville High School.
