Jordan Cassidy Brown, born December 18, 1983, in Walnut Creek, California, is a distinguished American former professional baseball outfielder who had an illustrious career in Major League Baseball (MLB). He is most known for his time with the Cleveland Indians in 2010 and the Miami Marlins in 2013. Interestingly, Jordan Brown is an alumni of Vacaville High School in Vacaville, California, where his passion for baseball was kindled.

Starting his professional journey, Brown was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the fourth round of the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft. He left a mark in his early professional career by being named the Topps Carolina League Player of the Year for 2006. The following year, he bagged the prestigious Eastern League MVP and Rookie of the Year titles while playing for the Akron Aeros. That year, he performed extraordinarily well, batting .333 with 11 home runs and 76 RBI. He was also named the Indians' 2007 Minor League Player of the Year.

However, Brown's journey was not only limited to the Indians. After a stint with the Indians, he spent some time with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2011, mainly playing for their minor league affiliate, the Nashville Sounds. In 2013, he joined the Miami Marlins for a brief period before moving to the Texas Rangers in 2014.
