Michael J. Nardotti, class of 1964

Mike Nardotti graduated from Uniondale High School in 1964, where he was a co-captain of the football team, and a NYS wrestling champion in addition to being a high honor role student. Mike went on to the United States Military Academy at West Point where he was an All-American Wrestler, First Regimental Commander and in the top 5 % of his class in academics. After graduation from West Point in 1969, Mike was commissioned as an Infantry officer and, after completion of Airborne and Ranger training, served in combat positions in Viet Nam. Mike was a highly decorated combat veteran receiving the Silver and Bronze Stars, Combat Infantry Badge and Purple Heart among others. Upon his return from Viet Nam, Mike became an instructor at West Point and at the same time attended law school at Fordham University. Upon graduation from Fordham Law, Mike began a new career in the Judge Advocate Corps of the United States Army and retired as a Major General - the Judge Advocate General of the United States Army. Upon his retirement from the Army, Mike became a partner in the law firm Patton, Boggs in Washington, DC.
