Looking for any/all former students of Mr. Gene Golluscio!! After a 40-year teaching career, (12 of which were at California Avenue School) "Mr. G" is finally putting down his infamous "red pen" after all these years! On Novemeber 4, 2008, Judge Tricia Ferrell was elected to serve as a District Court Judge for the next six years.

UHS Grad Turns Judge

Vote for UHS Grad - Class of '91, Judge Tricia Ferrell this November in the Town of Hempstead and Long Beach. In March of this year she was appointed as a District Court judge in Nassau County; the District Court is located in Hempstead and she presides over criminal and civil cases. Prior to becoming a judge, she worked as an Assistant District Attorney for Nassau County, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases and was the Director of Compliance for Nassau County. She also worked for the Incorporated Village of Hempstead, prosecuting cases as a Deputy Village Attorney. Please remember to support your fellow alumna.
