| About Me | At age 19 married a young man from Philadelphia, PA. He was in the Air Force and the next thing we knew, it was 20 years later and he was retiring from the Air Force! We have 3 children. Our oldest daughter is a stay at home Mom, our only son is carreer Army (with 11 years in combat zones) and retiring within the next 18 months, our youngest daughter works for Southwest Airlines. We have a bunch of grandchildren, and our 1st great grandchild! After 41 years of marriage, my husband is planning his retirement. While living in OKC after we retired from the Air Force I managed medical clinics, organized military support groups during Desert Storm "Sandcastles" support group, and decided to dedicate my life to Christ and become clergy. At age 57 I entered seminary and went under Episcopal appointment in 2008 as a United Methodist Deaconess. I work for Mercy Health Systems in Arkansas as a Hospital Chaplain with assigned areas of Tele., ICU, NICU, ER, and Cath Lab. I love my work, my family, my God. And, of course, home...(read more) |
