About	Vickie Buchanan \| Visit Guest Book Vickie Caroline Buchanan was born May 6, 1961 to Warren Gwin Norris and Gracie West Norris. On June 10, 2010, after a long, courageous battle with cancer, she is now at home with her Lord and Savior. She is survived by her loving, caring, husband, Mark Liston Buchanan, and her adored son, Gabriel Elijah; parents, Warren and Gracie of Oklahoma City; sister, Cynthia Gwin Taylor and husband Larry of Yukon; brother, Bill Norris and wife Shelba of OKC; brother, David Scott Norris of OKC. She is also survived by nieces, LaCinda Leigh Black and Alecia Lynne Day and their families, all of Yukon; her father-in-law, Ralph Buchanan of OKC; and Aunt Betty Overstreet; a host of cousins, extended family and friends. She graduated from U.S. Grant H.S. in 1979 and attended college at OCCC. Among the retail positions she held, she was district store manager and store organizer for Casual Male Big and Tall. She received a national honor for Women in Business for her work there. Later, Vickie sold Tupperware before becoming a full-time Mommie. She served in many volunteer positions at Antioch Christian Academy, including homeroom Mother and President of the Parent/Teacher fellowship. Vickie took great pride in surpassing herself every year as organizer of Super Fun Day. Viewing will be at Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary, South Lakes, from 12-8 PM Sunday & 4-8 PM Monday. Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Antioch Christian Church, 3616 S. W. 119th St. in OKC. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in OKC.
