RICKY L. JOHANSEN, JR.
Class of 1976
Ricky was inducted as a life member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the National Scholars' Honor Society by Governor gary Locke of Washington State in November of 2001. Ricky had been a PTSD-MST Counselor for the Veterans' Administration in Fairbanks, Alaska and received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with emphasis in Neuropsychology in June of 2003. Prior to that Ricky had been working for the VA and did his externship at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Care Center in Tacoma (1980-83) and worked under Fr. Eugene Kollenbenz, OSB and Fr. Tom Parks in Pastoral Care. Ricky ranked top 10% of his class and graduated Summa Cum Laude, University of Washington, Seattle.
