Graduated from THS in 1988, rather than 1987, because I was in Australia as an AFS student. Attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho (now BYU Idaho) on a partial scholarship for one year. Served a 2 year mission for my church in Manchester, England and then came back and graduated with honors from Ricks with an AA in premed. I attended and graduated from BYU and then worked at the University of Utah Medical Center until I was accepted into a Physician's Assistant program in Pennsylvania. After working as a PA in Weaverville for several months, I applied to and and was accepted into medical school in the Caribbean. I graduated from that program top of the class, served my internship in Greeley, CO, did my residency in Olympia, WA, where I was the Chief Resident my final year. I now have a solo practice as a family doctor in Olympia. Oh and by the way, I married in August of 2000, have a very beautiful wife and two wonderful stepsons....plus a 7 year old daughter and 5 year old twin boys.
