Class of 1983
Can y'all believe we had a smoking area for students at Tivy? Wow
And just so it isn't forgotten: the original THS was red brick, the added gym far left and math bldg far right were white brick . . . How perfectly-timed was the decision in what, 1982? To build a white brick wall in front of the red brick to make it appear uniformly white brick from the road? What an awesome idea, Pink Floyd fans? To build The Wall in front of a high school in the early '80's. It had to be Divine Intervention? If I only had a photo of the graffiti! Actually I'm pretty sure it made it into one of the yearbooks?
Seriously, our music began an era that remains popular to this day and NOBODY refers to it as "Oldies". Our kids love it the same as we did. Some call it Classic Rock but maybe it s/b Timeless Rock? (RIP EVH & SRV, nobody plays the guitar like you did, and your music lives on & on!)
