Cowen (January 24, 1950 - January 20, 2011) Wayne Bruce Cowen, age 60 of Westland, MI, passed away at Oakwood Hospital - Annapolis Center in Wayne, on Thursday, January 20, 2011. He was born on January 24, 1950, dear son of Alton and Peggy (Oliphant) Cowen. Wayne is survived by his wife, Robyn (Vorse) Cowen of over 34 years. Also, 4 sons; Ian (Ronnie Biscardi) Cowen of Newburgh, New York, Nathan Cowen of Westland, MI, Ethan (Tiffany Barnum) Cowen, of Garden City, MI and Teran Cowen of Westland, also, 1 grandson, Ty Cowen, 8 brothers and sisters and his father, Alton Cowen of Redford, MI. Mr. Cowen was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy. Wayne loved spending time with his family, especially his wife, Robyn. He enjoyed working, as the owner and operator of his own plumbing business, Wayne's Plumbing, in Wayne, MI. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 2-6 PM followed by a 6:00 PM Funeral Service at David C. Brown Funeral Home, Belleville. Cremation rites will be accorded.
