About	Catherine “Cathy” M. Gallup, age 77 years, passed away April 25, 2024, at CHI Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa after battling cancer. Cathy was born May 15, 1946, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late Joseph and Virginia Christina. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Council Bluffs, in 1965. Cathy was united in marriage to Kreg Gallup, June 19, 1965. She was a lifelong member of Queen of Apostles / Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Council Bluffs. Cathy was a teacher’s associate for the Council Bluffs Public Schools and enjoyed working with the students. Cathy loved spending time with and giving gifts to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed making quilts and blankets for family and going for car rides. Cathy is preceded in death, along with parents, by; brother, George Christina; sisters, Sarah Merritt and Shirley Stoner; and nieces, Sherry Coburn and Debbie Smith. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kreg Gallup; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Lisa Gallup; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Brian Kitt; grandchildren and their spouses, Amanda and John Cool, Kaitlin and Jordan Pettit, Amber and Colin McMahon, Corey and Lori Kitt and Tony Kitt; great grandchildren, Abel, Jed and Annalise Cool, Henry Pettit, Kieran McMahon, Everleigh Kitt; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Grant Kirchhoff; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Pat Christina; other loving family and friends. Visitation Monday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral Service to be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Council Bluffs. Memorials directed by the family.
