About	Brent Kevin Taylor, age 60, of Council Bluffs, IA., passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at CHI Mercy Hospital. Brent was born on December 30, 1963, in Council Bluffs, IA., at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Brent went on to graduate from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1982. After graduation Brent served in the United States Navy. Upon finishing his service in the Navy, Brent settled for many years in the Kansas City area. However, for the last five years he again called Council Bluffs home. Brent loved to ride motorcycles, spend time with his family, and cook. He enjoyed cooking so much that he made a career of it, preparing meals for almost a decade at General Mills for the general workers. Brent had a big heart and would care for anyone. Over the last few months, he was able to spend some very special time with his mother, Katherine Taylor. Brent was preceded in death by his father, Michael Taylor (July 2023), and brother, Shawn Taylor (September 2023). Brent is survived by his mother Katherine “Kay” Taylor; brother Phillip Taylor; both of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and daughter, Gabby Taylor. Brent is also survived by many aunts, an uncle, nephews, a niece, and other relatives and friends.
