A Memorial Mass is set for Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 6320 Bennett Rd. Jacksonville, FL. Ph. 904-733-6860 Father Michael Larkin presiding. She was born May 1, 1960, in Boston, MA to Louis and Alice Ferrari. Her late father was a former Division Chief with the City of Jacksonville. Her mother is a retried administrator from the City of Jacksonville, still residing in the City. Lisa graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1978. She attended the University of North Florida with a BBA and earned an MBA and MHA thereafter. She graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law with a JD and was a Public Defender for many years for Florida. Mrs. Ferrari Samuel is survived by her husband, Wyn Samuel, her mother Alice E. Ferrari, her brother, L. David Ferrari, Esq., her sister, Carla L. M. Ferrari, her stepson, Chuck Samuels, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
