WE ARE ASKING ALL ALUMNI CLASSES FROM 1970-1995 TO RETURN TO SHS AUDITORIUM AT 6 PM ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2013, TO PAY TRIBUTE TO MR. & MRS. CARTER FOR THEIR 25 YEARS OF SERVICE TO SHS AND THE ENTIRE SYLACAUGA COMMUNITY. THERE WILL BE A "ROAST" OF MR. CARTER AND ENTERTAINMENT BY WORLD-RENOWNED SHS ALUMNI DAVID ROBINSON, AND OTHER TALENT ACTS BY SHS STUDENTS.
TICKETS ARE ONLY $10/ OR $20 TO INCLUDE THE CATERED BBQ MEAL..

Yearbooks for sale!
SHS is selling yearbooks that they have in stock for $10 each. If you are interested in purchasing one, please contact Carol Sprayberry at 256-245-0376 or via e-mail at sprayberryc@sylacauga.k12.al.us. The yearbooks still in stock and the quantities of each are listed below:
These yearbooks cannot be mailed. They will need to be picked up at the high school by you or a friend/family member. Cash or money orders will be accepted. No checks please.
The school also has yearbooks for graduates that have paid for them, but have yet to pick them up. Please contact the school if you think you might be one of them.

Rich Kuykendall (1949) receives Grant in Hawaii
Last Oct2009, I received a years' grant to work as a Registered Music Therapist in my Studio in Pukalani, HI. This pays me for working with up to 25 youth on Maui, who have disabilities, i.e., autistic, developmentally delayed, mentally ill, brain-injured, etc. I am still working fulltime at 79 years of age, and don't plan to retire.
