About	Age 33, of Flint, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 22, 2004. He passed away in his sleep. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at St. Bartholomews Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Fr. Gene Geromel officiating. Interment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 11 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Mike was a 1989 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and was a painter with Jim Gilberts painting for some time. He was a very generous and loving man who put his family first. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. Surviving are: son, Michael; parents, Anthony and Mary Gilbert of Swartz Creek; brother, Bill Brutha Bill (Heather) Gilbert; sister, Treka Treek (Bradley) McCormick; grandparents, Allen and Joann Ahrens; nephews, Cristofer, Sawyer, Owen, Maddox, Dawson and his only niece, Olivia Ollie.
