About	Michael J. Hakes, 69, passed away with his daughter by his side after a difficult battle with cancer on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents Marlene & Harold Hakes. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Avery & Nicole Hakes; daughter & son-in-law Michelle & Zachary Beers and his grandson Hunter Hakes; the mother of his children and best friend Maria Connolly & loyal friends Larry & Kevin. He was a proud and talented welder and truck driver with the CB Handle “Wild Welder”. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed listening to the blues and classic rock. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandson Hunter.
Events	At Michael’s request, there with be no funeral services. A Private Burial will be in the Spring Forest Cemetery at the convenience of the family
