
Richard Thompson, SHS Class of 1981 graduate, has been recently featured in a Cover Story in RESPONSE magazine, a national trade publication focussing on the people and issues in the consumer direct marketing field. The story covers Thompson's unique and innovative television direct marketing campaign for the Teflon* brand for DuPont. The story covers the first time DRTV has ever been used to promote an consumer "ingredient" brand and how Rich came up with the idea and executed it to great success in 2005 and 2006.
The story was also nominated for a 2007 Western Publications "Maggie" Award for "Best Interview" this April.
Thompson is currently Senior Marketing Manager for Teflon* Consumer Finishes at DuPont.
