About	HEATHER LESLI ASKEW BLACKWELL died October 22 at Texas Medical Center Methodist Hospital. Heather was born April 13, 1970 in Ft. Smith Arkansas. She is survived by her beloved son Seth Blackwell, age 4; husband Neil Blackwell and mother Mika Askew all of Houston; her father James F. Askew of Austin, one brother Jim Askew and wife Wendy; nephews Jake, Austin and Sam all of Houston. Heather is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Heather's passion was writing children's books; therefore, in lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Heather's name to the West University Methodist Church Children's Library.
