Join us July 24-25, 2020 for our 40th Reunion of the Class of 1980 from South Salem High School. The committee's goals were to put together a two day event that was a lot of fun, easy to coordinate, and easy/affordable to attend. Schedule of events:
Friday 5-10 pm - fun night (Saxon Spirit Night). Join us at the home of Scott and Theresa Erickson in the hills of West Salem where you'll be treated to JACKIE'S RIBS (to be prepared by chef Brian McClain and helpers) as well as a no host bar and some very fun surprises. Wear your Saxon colors! Nominal cost per person at the door.
Saturday 10 am (optional) - tour of South Salem High School
Saturday Noon (optional) - a 9 hole golf scramble, a casual bowling event and maybe a picnic option will be coordinated by members of the committee.
Saturday Evening - dinner to be held at Lum Yuen. Traci Kautz is the GM and is offering us a great venue with good parking and great food for $20 pp or less. We will line up some watering and dancing locations for after the dinner.
The committee will try to arrange a block of rooms at The Grand Hotel in downtown Salem at a discounted rate for Friday and Saturday nights for those coming in from out of town.
