About	Thomas S. Foley passed away on March 19, 2018, at the age of 68, in Lady Lake, Florida, where he resided for the last 18 years. Tom was born in Portland, Maine in 1948 to Edward C and Tomasina (Mazie) Maietta Foley. Raised in South Portland, he graduated from South Portland High School, class of 1966. He then went on to Westbrook College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. He served in the U.S. Army for three years where he was stationed in Germany. He was a proud member of American Legion Post 347 in Lady Lake, the world’s largest American Legion post. Tom retired from Graybar Electric after 25 years and was a warehouse foreman for the last 18 years in Lady Lake. He loved and enjoyed many family dinners with his Aunt Eleanor Zappia, who would cook for days to make him his favorite Italian dishes when he was in Maine. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, as well as his stepchildren, Laurie, Roland and Keith Lachance. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elsie D. (Piner) Foley; Grandson, Christopher P. Ferris, brother, Edward C. Foley, Jr. and his wife Shirley; aunts, Eleanor Zappia, Mary Dulac and Lenore Foley; many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many close friends.
