SLHS Baseball Alumni Game

South Lake High School and Building Blocks Baseball Academy are hosting a three day holiday baseball camp, Friday, Saturday, and Monday,

December 26th – 29th, 2008 from 9:00 AM -3:00 PM



The “Take your game higher” Camp will run in 2 sessions:

9:00 AM – 12:00 noon Skills of the game

12:00 – 12:30 Lunch

12:30 PM – 3:00 PM Campers will be divided into teams and games will be played evaluating skills and techniques..

Each session will be skills and drills related to improve your game in each of these areas. We will also use technology to break down each skill. The cost of the event is $50.00 for the day. South Lake High School is sponsoring the second annual Alumni Baseball Game on Saturday, December 27th, 2008. Registration begins at 1:30 PM and game time is at 3:00 PM. The alumni game is open to all alumni who graduated from South Lake HS, Clermont HS, and or Groveland HS. All alumni are welcome to play as we had 25 last year in the inaugural game featuring John Koronka hitting a 2 run homerun in the bottom of the 9th to win for the even year’s team. There is no cost to play and all alumni will receive a t-shirt for participating.

South Lake High Band Uniforms

The South Lake High School Screaming Eagle Band Program is in need of new marching uniforms. It is our goal to raise enough funds to purchase new uniforms by the end of this school year (2008-2009). Our current uniforms have been in use since the school opened in 1993, so they are now 15 years old. A typical life span of a band uniform is somewhere around 7 to 8 years.
