About	Ron was born and raised in Bakersfield and went to South High School until he graduated in 1974. He was part of the Drama classes at South. He was 49 years old when he passed away on May 22, 2005, from complications related to brain cancer (GBM). Ron had served a 3 year tour in the U.S. Air Force, and travelled through states such as Oklahoma and New York, where he met his future wife, Roberta. They then moved on to Campbell, California, where he was a school teacher at Monroe Middle School where he taught math, computer graphics, and video production. Ron was a devout Christian, and one of his favorite scriptures was: Jeremiah, 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." A quote from the San Jose Mercury newspaper of which Ron's obituary was published. Ron was also active in South High's media production activities for many of the school activities, and he also did a salutation video of one of the Class of 1974's reunions, held in Bakersfield not far from a park located near the Frank West elementary school where Ron attended. The family of Ron wish to extend a warm remembrance to all classmates of South's Class of 1974.
