About Me | I love God more than my own life and separating me from him would be no more possible than separating me from my own body. I go to sleep every night and wake every morning knowing that I have the most wonderful husband in the world. I know you hear this everywhere but I have truly thought about it. I would die for my kids. I think sunsets are the most beautiful scenery. I can’t wait to see what my kids grow up to be. But, it makes me sad to know their growing up. The older I get the more I can’t believe I made it through my youth. Good grief what was I thinking?? :o) When I was a teenager I swore I would never drive a cheesy mom van. I love my van, I love my van, I really love my van! :o) I hate being scared; scary movies, scary stories, scary rides.. Not my thing, there is enough stuff in this world to make me scared.. Why would I do it on purpose? I would love to write a book. But I can’t sit still long enough to figure out what to write about? I tried to learn Spanish but my mouth started to hurt. I tried to learn to play guitar but my fingers hurt. I tried to learn to crochet and knit but my arms hurt. My son has taught me never to stop trying new things. I like being the center of attention on my terms and in small engagements. But I am terrified of large groups. I like being around kids. They are truly the best comedians. My mom owned her own coffee shop and I have decided after trying everything on the menu and creating some of my own. I would take a regular house coffee over anything else. But I still don’t understand Decaf. Why bother?? When I was in middle school I prayed for two more inches in height. But, now that I’m older I know that if God would have granted me that wish, I would be taller than my husband in over half the wonderful shoes in my closet. And all of the ones under my bed waiting for summer :o) My daughter may not look a thing like me but she has the same wonderful addiction for shoes! I love classic romance movies and novels; Pride and Prejudice, Casablanca, Breakfast At Tiffany’s. My son actually sat with me and watched all 4 hours of Gone With The Wind. Of course he was grounded from TV and video games and I think desperate. I decided it was worth breaking the rules a bit. Sometimes you have to pick your battles in order to make lasting memories. I wish I didn’t have to work eight hours a day. I would love to stay home and take care of my husband and kids. I don’t have a favorite color. It seems odd to me to be so committed to one color? I don’t have a favorite song. There are a lot of songs I like at any specific moment. I love all kinds of music. I have jazz, heavy metal, and country on my mp3 player. I love to watch Baseball on television. Go Braves! I do have a favorite quote: “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never ...(read more) |
