About	Daniel Lee “Danny” Tolbert, 66, died at his Lakeview home on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016. He was born to Roy and Dolores (Fullenwider) Tolbert in Watsonville, Calif. on Dec. 27, 1949. Danny grew up in Santa Cruz, Calif. where he graduated from Soquel High School in 1967. He enlisted in the Navy in August 1967. After his Service time he traveled throughout the United States before settling in Santa Cruz where he became an expert Volkswagon Mechanic. In 1983 he moved to Mendocino County and continued to follow his mechanic’s trade. He went to Crescent City in 2003 and lived in a few other locations in Northern California before making his permanent home in Lakeview in 2009. Danny enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores and Elizabeth Tolbert. Survivors: Sons, Joshua Tolbert of Lakeview, William Austin of MT. and Eythan Gordon of Santa Cruz; Father, Roy J. Tolbert of Atwater, CA.; Brother, Joseph Tolbert of Vashon, WA.; Sister, Susan Olds of Lakeview; and Granddaughter, Kat Tolbert.
