About	Daniel P. Pavao, 83, of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of fifty-seven years to Emma (Carvalho) Pavao. Daniel was born in Fall River, the son of the late John and Mary (Souza) Pavao. He was a graduate of Somerset High School class of 1953. Mr. Pavao then served his country for over twenty years with the United States Air Force and was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. While serving he worked as an aircraft maintenance superintendent and eventually earned the rank of a decorated Master Sergeant. He also earned his associates degree in business accounting from Fisher College in Fall River. After retiring from the military he worked as a sales expediter at Action Automation in Attleboro for several years. Dan was a Eucharistic Minister for forty years and a communicant at Saint Patricks Church in Somerset. Dan enjoyed playing Bocce, wood crafting and being outdoors. Survivors besides his wife are two daughters: Elizabeth F. Pereira and her husband John of Berkley; Joyce P. Rouy and her husband Nicholas of West Yarmouth; two sons: Thomas D. Pavao and his wife Denise of Ashfield; Scott Pavao and his wife Martha of New York City; three grandchildren: Margaret, Daniel and Joshua; two brothers: Alfred Pavao of California; Michael Pavao of New Mexico; along with many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John Pavao.
