On March 15, 2020 the Center for Disease Control (CDC) declared that all meetings of 50 individuals or more NOT be held across the United States for the next 8 weeks concerning the evolving COVID-19 virus.  On March 16th President Trump further reduced that number to 10 people and said this Pandemic may last until July or August.
Based on this  information the 50th Anniversary SSS Class of 1970 Banquet scheduled for May 2nd has been rescheduled .  The new date for the Banquet is Saturday September 26, 2020 at 6:30 pm.   While this is disappointing news, your SSS Planning committee wanted to make sure everyone's health and safety is a top priority while health officials continue their efforts to protect the public from the COVID-19 virus.
