About	Jack Allen Chapman, 48, of Seth went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 28, 2008, after trying to save his son from a tragic accident. Allen was born on Sept. 10, 1959, in Sharlow and was a son of the late Johnny Chapman and Gladys Chapman Griffy. He was preceded in death by a 2-month-old grandson, Hunter Daniel; grandma, Sadie Carr; uncle, Robert Carr; and his son, Daniel Chapman. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Regina Chapman of Seth; a son and his wife, Jeffrey Allen and Jenny, and two grandsons, Isaac Owen Chapman and Jeremy Allen Hudson, all of Seth; his stepdad, Harold Griffy of Seth; two brothers, John and his wife, Kim, and their daughter and two sons, and Leslie Chapman and companion, Misty, and their three children; a sister, Missy Hudson and companion, Chris; a stepbrother, Timmy Griffy and wife, Ella, and their two children of Sylvester; a stepsister, Nancy Simpson and husband, D.C., and their three children; and a lot of family members and friends who will miss him forever. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Hopkins Fork Community Church, Prenter, with Pastor Roger Halstead and Pastor Danny Kinder officiating. Interment will be in Ferrell Cemetery, Comfort. Visitation will be 90 minutes prior to the service at the church. Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, is in charge of arrangements.
