About	Iva Mae passed away in Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV on April 11, 2011. Iva Mae is survived by her husband, Leonard Peters Jr., her children, Jennifer :Brooke" and husband Michael Pyles of Huntington, her son, Joseph Andrew "Drew" of Beckley and daughter, Presley at home in Lester. Iva Mae was a devoted Mother and very proud Grandmother to Madelyn, "Mallie" who referred to her as Marmie. Also surviving are both parents, Larry Loftin of Daniels, and Sarah "Sally"Wolz of Cross Lanes, as well as her sister, Sarah Gaye Clevenger of Cross Lanes and Larry "Hank" and wife Lori of Lewisburg. Paternal Grandmother, Mae Loftin, survives at her residence in North Carolina. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many life-long friends for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. Iva Mae was a Majorette in High School and sponsored Cheerleader groups while her daughters were in school. She was on the Yearbook staff and a played the Saxophone and French Horn in the Finest Band of all the Land. Most recently, Iva Mae had been in declining health, but had been very pleased to have re-connected with many old school friends through Facebook. Funeral services will be at the Calfee Funeral Home in Beckley on Friday afternoon, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Brother Dennis Dye will be delivering the message, and music will be provided by Betty Ann Stine Williams. Her entire family has already been blessed with many expressions of sympathy, concern, and prayers offered on their behalf. Sincerest thanks to the Sherman High School 1970's alumni.
