We have worked with the Sugar Refinery to setup a page where tickets for the reunion can be purchased. The cost of the ticket will be $25 that includes taxes and gratuity. The link to the website to purchase tickets is below.

Also I have spoken to the director of Sales and Marketing at the Sugarland Marriot in Town Square concerning a discount on rooms for the event. They have agreed to set aside a block of discounted rooms for the weekend once we have a better idea on how many rooms we need. If you are interested in booking a room there send me e-mail at rrupe@swbell.net and I can begin to compile a list of people. Also there are many other hotels and motels in the area. The Marriot is the only one located right in Town Square.

Original Post
I have locked down a date for the high school reunion for this year. The date will be March 24, 2018. The location will be the Sugar Refinery located in Sugarland at Town Center. This is a great location with many restaurants, bars and shopping all within the Town Center. The private reunion will be from 2PM to 6PM. After that time the doors will be open to the general public. You are welcome to stay at the Sugar Refinery after that or check out some of the other great restaurants or bars within walking distance. In order to track who is actually coming I will be working with Sugar Refinery later this week to setup a page where people can purchase tickets. The purpose of this is so the Sugar Refinery knows how to staff for the event and have enough food for everyone. The ticket price will include one drink and delicious appetizers during the event. The cost of the ticket will be $20.
There will be a DJ there spinning classic rock vinyl records from our time. The Sugar Refinery also has a large HD projection screen where we can show old pictures from our high school days.
I will also be working with the Marriot in Town Center to try a secure a discount on rooms for all our out of town visitors or anyone one else interested in staying there. I will send further updates once I have the ticket website setup and information on the Marriot. I wanted to give everyone heads up on the date so they could begin planning. I am looking forward to the event and us having a good time.
