He is best recognized as the co-founder of Siri Inc., which was a significant part of his career journey at Apple Inc. Siri has since become a staple feature on iPhone devices, altering the way users interact with their tech gadgets.

During his early life, Cheyer's academic journey began at Sharon High School, graduating in 1984. He later earned a computer science degree from Brandeis University and a master's degree in computer science and artificial intelligence from UCLA.

Prior to Siri, Adam was part of the Artificial Intelligence Center at SRI International, serving as a computer scientist and project director. Here, he was the Chief Architect on the CALO project.
