Shadle Park High School Alumni

Mr. Robert Cappello, math teacher and counselor from 1962-1985 passed away Monday, November 9, 2008.

Robert Cappello taught math before becoming a career counselor.

Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 7pm will be the rosary and viewing at Hennessey Funeral Home, Spokane.

A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 10:00am at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. followed by a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. A small reception will follow back at St. Thomas Moore., also Spokane.

This Saturday Oct. 4th in the NEW SP commons @ 6:00 is a BBQ dinner/auction benefiting the students' @ SPHS. Tickets are $11.00. Many great items are available regarding the auction.

Alumni, this is your chance to be a part of Shadle Park history by purchasing a customized engraved brick for the new Highlander Pride Alumni Courtyard, which will be located by the library in the new school plan. Order forms can be downloaded from the Shadle Park home page (www.shadlepark.com). The courtyard will be completed this Spring so orders need to be in by January 31, 2008. With Christmas almost here this would make a great present for an alum you know (or even yourself!) so spread the word to your fellow classmates!
