Kelley attended the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. Kelley joined the Crew Team starting her freshman year. With no prior experience, Kelley advance quickly from Novice to the First Boat. She was nominated and won All American all four years. Kelley was also invited two times to the Women’s National Camp. Her senior year, Kelley, as Captain, lead her team for the first time to the NCAA in TN. winning the Petite Finals. After graduating, Kelley was invited back to coach the men’s novice team for UMW.
