Michael J. Mantino

Class of 1948

The Electrical training program at Seneca was superb. It was the origin of my working life as an Electrician and Electronic Technician and provided me with a better than average income for the rest of my life. I was too small for sports back then but maniacally supported our football and basketball teams and never missed a game. Tracy Latona was our fantastic quarter back then and barreling, churning Leo Swistak was our unstoppable fullback. Leo could headplow a ten foot hole into the Great Wall of China. To think that all these great guys, my absolute heroes, are probably gone now absolutely breaks my archaic heart. God bless their pure and beautiful souls.
P.S. Save a spot up there for me guys, ya' hear! And I'm buying!
