| About Me | Dave was born in upstate New York and graduated from Scotia-Glenville Senior High School in June 1974. He attended college for a short period of time, then enlisted in the U.S. military. Dave served his country as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special investigations (AFOSI). He retired from the Air Force after twenty plus years. His assignments included Germany, Holland, France, Belgium, Africa, etc. He is a veteran of Desert Storm (1991). After the Air Force, Dave graduated (Cum Laude) from Albany University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He followed that up with a Masters Degree in Education from U Albany. He loved teaching Government and Economics to the high school senior classes of Hadley-Luzerne Central Schools. He currently loves teaching U.S. History to both 7th and 8th Grade classes. Dave has been married to Linda (Montanye) Snyder for 43 years. They have a daughter, a son, two grandsons and a granddaughter.
