Roy graduated from Saranac Central High School in 1969. Since graduation Roy has become a well knows Adirondack Folk Singer. Roy was in Nashville from 1990-2001 and held staff songwriting positions writing for two of the largest publishing companies in the world; Sony Music Publishing and Warner/Chappell Music. Jo Dee Messina has recorded one of Roy's songs "Nothing I Can Do". I had the priviledge of attendting school with Roy since the 1st grade and love going to his concerts. My 11 yr old grandson has all of his CD's and loves his music and especially his storytelling. Roy has many accomplishments and you can catch some of his songs on youtube.
