About	Robin D. Smalley November 1, 1963 - July 21, 2009 SANFORD, MAINE. Robin D. Smalley, 45, of Sanford, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 21, 2009. She was born on November 1, 1963, in Boston, MA, a daughter of George W. and Doris M. (Jackson) Smalley, III. She was a 1982 graduate of Sanford High School. Robin also attended the Catherine Hines Institute of Esthetics in Woburn, MA to pursue her love of make-up and skin care. Robin or “Bubby” as she was often called was a caring and giving soul. Bubby was a unique person who enjoyed fashion, music and the beaches along the Maine coast. Survivors include her mother Doris M. Smalley and her loving partner Dave Schofield of Sanford, her father George W. Smalley, III of Sanford, a brother Scott W. Smalley of Sanford, a sister, Laurel J. Allain and her husband Jayson of Dover-Foxcroft, a brother Christopher G. Smalley of Port Hueneme, CA, her special niece Jae Allain of Sanford and a nephew Max Allain of Dover-Foxcroft. She will also be greatly missed by many cousins, uncles and friends. Relatives and friends were invited to celebrate her life on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
