*** UPDATE FOR SMHS 50th yr. Anniversary Celebration *** I will be posting this in several areas so I apologize if you receive duplicate notices. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD... The alumni booths will be set up by the 400 buildings facing the main quad. At this time, there are 2 six foot tables for each decade. No EZ up is required as they will be under awnings. Barry Zeait (current SMHS ASB Director) will have the tables ready by 2:00 pm and each decade is to decorate with their memorabilla. Basically, it's five groups of two tables and not alot of room for memorabilla... 61-69 70-79 80-89 90-99 00-10 At this time, I am not aware OF ANYONE overseeing the "80's thru 89s" decade but if anyone has an ancient artifact from those years that is a "gotta have it" item on the "all 80's decade" table for others to see please let me know! I am also asking Barry to set up a "FACULTY" table so we can easily find our teachers at the event since name tags will not be provided. I would like to see 2-3 people from each year "supervise" our decade display for 30 minutes each so that one or two of us are not "stuck behind the table" the entire event. So, if you or someone you know that graduated from 1980-89 wants to help out PLEASE have them get in touch with me. The event is from 3-7 so that would be eight 30-minute supervision shifts. Shirts, stickers, spirit items, pictures will be for sale. The shirts will be specific 50 year type designs. I was not given prices. There is a POSSIBILITY that SMHS memorabilia stuff will be sold/auctioned off at a later event. The car show will be in the main quad with parking lines painted for each car to park in. Alumni (table) Displays. Live Music & Performances. Special Performances by SMHS Cheer, Dance, Jazz Band ~~~~~~~~ Cavalcade Spring Show ticket prices $7 pre-sale; $10 at door; $12 VIP (only 50 seats for VIP).
