About	Dad passed away from a heart attack 8 years after his life was saved by a liver transplant for binary biliary cirrhosis, a disease of unknown origins. I believe some of Dad's fondest memories were of his years teaching, coaching and politics. He loved making a positive impact in student's lives and bringing history alive in the classroom. He loved to challenge us to examine the reasons why we believe what we do. He truly loved all of his students. This photo was taken on their 50th anniversary in 1994.
