About	Kasi Lin Harnar Smith, 31, was born October 31, 1979 to Robert and Sherri Harnar. We lost Kasi much too soon. On March 9, 2011 with her family at her side, Kasi passed away. Kasi is a 10 year veteran of the Pasadena Police Department. Kasi is preceded in death by her father, Robert LeRoy Harnar, grandparents Pauline Simpson Stevens and Robert and Sally Bennett and great grandparents Leslie and Lois Simpson. She is survived by her husband, James Smith and step-daughter Caroline. Kasi is also survived by parents, Sherri Harnar Coleman and husband Butch and sister, Bobbi Ross and husband Jeremy. Also left to mourn are father-in-law and mother-in-law Henry C. and Tammy Smith and brother-in-law Michael Smith and wife Kelli and nieces, Taylor Jones and Bella Ross and nephew, Anthony Harnar and extended family Mary Ann Bennett and Larry Bennett. The family will welcome visitors at Rosewood Funeral Home 3939 Pasadena Blvd. on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 5-8 PM. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 14, 2011 at 2 PM at Rosewood. Standing guard in honor of Kasi’s service and serving as pallbearers will be her fellow officers with the Pasadena Police Department.
