Jane C. Malone

AGE: 54 • Tinton Falls

Jane C. Malone, 54, of Tinton Falls, died peacefully at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ on Thursday, March 24, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born in Long Branch, NJ in 1956, daughter of Helen B. Malone and the late Lawrence R. Malone. She graduated from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School in 1974. Jane worked in the medical field for many years; initially in laboratory sales in Florida, and then as operations manager of Hackensack Diagnostic Center, an MRI and radiology facility. She made a career change in 1999 and became very successful in automotive sales. Her working career was cut short as she was diagnosed with and disabled by MS in 2003. Jane was a member of the MS Society. She was an avid lover of all animals and nature and was very devoted to her dog Lucy, and cats, Misty and Rosie.

Jane was predeceased by her father, Lawrence R. Malone and her brother, Gregory J. Malone. She is survived by her loving mother, Helen B. Malone; her brother, Lawrence J. Malone and his wife Janis of Clinton, CT; her niece, Katie F. Malone of Bozeman, MT; her nephew, Lawrence D. Malone and his wife Colette of California, MD, and her niece, Meghan Malone Misar and her husband Darren of Chester, NJ.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5 pm - 7 pm Friday, April 1, at Thompson Memorial Home; 310 Broad Street; Red Bank, NJ 07701. The family will have a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jane's memory to the MS Society, NJ Chapter, 706 Haddonfield Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 and to the Monmouth County SPCA, Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
