About	RIVERDALE - Wendy Stoddard Downey, our loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011, after battling liver disease. She was born January 11, 1965, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Russell Stoddard and Annabel Piesing. Wendy lived most of her years in Roy, Utah. She attended Sandridge Junior High, and Roy High School. She also had lived in Cokeville, Wyoming. She married Mark Downey in August, 1982, they divorced after six years. She then married Scott Fitzgerald in April, 2003. They also divorced after two years. Wendy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed puzzles, movies, football, golf, volleyball, music and especially taking road trips. Wendy had a warm and loving heart. She was always the life of the party. She welcomed everyone with open arms and they instantly became her family. She lived for her children and grandchildren. She loved animals, especially her own. She is survived by her loving partner, Shawn O'Bray, parents, Annabel and Jerry Hofer, and Russell and Joyce Stoddard, daughters; Mindy Mercer, Mandy Masters, Miranda Milenoff, and five grandchildren; Laila, Aubrie, Destini, Lilly, and Ayden. She is also survived by her brother, Shawn Stoddard, and sisters, Robin Stoddard and Lisa Dixon. Wendy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dr. W. C. and Beryl Swanson. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the nurses and doctors who cared for her throughout the years and to her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at 12:00 noon, at the Riverdale 2nd Ward, 1176 West 5500 South, Riverdale, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah, and a gathering will be held on Tuesday, from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m., prior to services at the church.
