After graduating from Roosevelt High School I attended the University of Wyoming for four years and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. I worked as a Public Health Nurse in Gillette Wyoming and Buffalo Wyoming. I returned to the Uof Wy to earn a masters degree in nursing and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1983. I taught Nursing School for the U of Wy for nearly 10 yers and then 15 years ago became the Nursing Coordinator for Natrona County School District supervisiing 19 nurses and 13,000 students. I have been priviliged to keep teaching nurses in presenting at nearly 20 State, and National Conferences for School Nurses and in May of 2010 was asked to speak to the International School Nurses in Frankfurt Germany. Through out my career I married the most wonderful man alive, Stephen Delger. He is from Great Falls Montana and is currently managing an Oil Field in nearby Glenrock Wyoming. We have two fantastic girls, Dana Marie just graduated from Columbia Law School in NYC and is a public defender in Harlem. She will spend one year as a clerk to Judge Pooler of the 2nd Federal District Court of Appeals in NYC beginning Fall of 2011. Our Allison is a a cosmetologist at an upscale Spa here in Casper and is kept so busy making us all beautiful! I feel that Roosevelt High School gave me the confidence to do anything in this life, and with perserverance all of my dreams have cone true. I am blessed beyond belief.
