About	Philip G. Levis, Sr., 72, died at his home on May 14, 2013. Phiil was born on January 21, 1941 in Attleboro, Massachusetts. In June 1962 he received his B.A. from Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts. On August 18, 1962, he married Judith Nardelli, his high school sweetheart. He taught English at Cranston High School, Cranston, RI. He also pursued and received his M.Ed. from Rhode Island College, Providence, RI. Phil and Judy moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1966 where he continued his teaching career at East High School. He became an Assistant Principal at Service-Hanshew in 1972 until he became Principal of Hanshew Middle School when it opened in 1985.
